A Special Announcement from the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development:
The National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED) is pleased to announce its recent award of a cooperative agreement from the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) to operate UIDA Business Services, an American Indian Procurement Technical Assistance Center (AIPTAC) servicing the Eastern, Southwest, and Navajo Bureau of Indian Affairs service areas. Existing clients of UBS located outside this coverage area will be contacted by UBS with options regarding AIPTAC services.

UIDA Business Services (UBS) is committed to business development for Indian people. UBS is a non-profit organization serving clients in the Southwest BIA Area, the Navajo BIA Area, and the Eastern/Southeastern BIA Area; with primary emphasis on the following states:

Connecticut, Rhode Island, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas (El Paso), New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah.

UBS’ main office is located in Marietta, GA with sub-offices located in Herndon, VA and Ocean Springs, MS.

Our services are designed to assist Indian owned and tribally owned businesses succeed in government contracting. The Native American Procurement Technical Assistance (PTA) program at UIDA Business Services is one of approximately 100 centers located in different states. The PTA centers are funded by the Department of Defense (DoD) through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in order to provide assistance and information to small businesses interested in selling their goods and services to the DoD and any Federal, state or local government agency.

UIDA Seeking Procurement Specialists

We are now seeking applicants for two Procurement Specialist positions in our Sub-Office in the New Mexico area, tentatively located in the cities of Farmington and Albuquerque.
