"Celebration of Spirit, Path of the Warrior" Trans Global Summit

Taking place at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. This four day event is "The place to be" for 2008. All proceeds go to education through our Native American Achievement Centers which are being built on American Indian Reservations nationwide, to assist Native People in thier quest to level the playing field for jobs, education, and opportunities.

This Event will include:

Day One: Gathering of Eagles Tribal Leaders Summit where leaders will meet to discuss and solve major problems in Indian Country.

Day Two: 8th Annual Talking Stick Supplier Diversity Forum and International Trade Fair. In the evening will be a "Get out the Native Vote Reception"

Day Three: Gathering of Young Eagles - Tribal skateboarding games and competition coordinated by Native Skates, Inc. of Michigan. In the evening will be the 8th Annual Walking Between Worlds American Indian Scholarship and Corporate Awards Gala.

Day Four: Gathering of the Eagles International Cultural Festival with dancers, drum competition, srotytellers, vendors, authentic Indian village, flutes, fashion show, celebrities, and of course delicious Native food.

To register for the event, book your rooms, purchase any discounted Disney World  Park tickets, please go to www.hopeharmony.org and if you want to play golf in the Celebration of Spirit Celebrity Tournament at the world famous PGA World Championship Course, on August 22nd, 9am - 2pm, you must register for that as well

(INPRO) Indian Progress in Business Awards Banquet

INPRO is an annual fundraising dinner banquet that is a tribute to diversity, tradition, and achievement. The event acknowledges and honors the accomplishments and contributions of American Indians and those who support Indian economic and business development endeavors. Awards are given in various categories to individuals that have helped facilitate Indian entrepreneurship.

INPRO attendees will witness first hand the beauty and culture of live American Indian entertainment.

Event will be held at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, CA on Friday September 12, 2008 with registration at 5:00 pm, the reception will be at 5:30 pm and the banquet/awards at 7:00 pm.

2008 Resource and Government Procurement Fair

The Bois Forte Band of Chippewa is hosting a Resource and Procurement Fair at Fortune Bay Resort, located on beautiful lake Vermillion in Tower, MN. There will be a continuous trade show wth Government Agencies and Prime Contractors staffing booths to meet with prospective vendors. There will also be procurement related workshops taking place. Fortune Bay Resort Casino is providing the space so there are no fees to exhibit or attend.

Who should attend?

Small businesses interested in starting a business, growing their business, and/or doing business with government agencies and prime contractors. In addition, attendees can participate in workshops on topics ranging from "Starting a Business" to "Selling to the Government". Small businesses owned by ethnic minoities, veterans, and women can learn about special programs designed to provide better access to the government marketplace.

2008 Seventh Annual Hayes Defense Economic Development and Trade Show

Congressman Hayes holds this trade show in Fayetteville, NC annually as a way to connect local businesses and industries with the military, defense corporations, and contracators. This forum also provides those companies in attendance an opportunity to interface with the Fort Bragg community. There is no cost to exhibit at the trade show as well as no cost to attend. The trade show is open to the public. The event will be held at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
