Notes From The Director,
The United Indian Development Association (UIDA) is pleased to have the opportunity to work with the Eastern United States
Native American Business Community. The mission of UIDA. is strongly expressed in the mission statement it shares with the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED). UIDA's mission as a business organization is to develop and expand the American Indian private sector which employs Indian labor, increases the number of viable tribal and individual Indian businesses, and positively impacts and involves reservation communities by establishing business relationships between Indian enterprises and private industry. UIDA
will work with various Indian communities in all phases
of business planning and development. The goal of this
program is to provide contract identification and
procurement assistance to Native American businesses
throughout the U.S. UIDA makes available contract bid opportunities from federal, state, and local government agencies and large corporations doing business with the government throughout the country.
We welcome you to take advantage of our services and hope that we can play an important role in the growth of your business.
--Wm. Tyler McGhee, Director
