UIDA is funded by the Department of Defense/Defense Logistics Agency. UIDA provides Procurement & Technical Assistance and bid leads to its clients. It covers 2 Bureau
of Indian Affairs
regions in 13 states and 51 reservations. States include: AL, CT, FL, LA, MA, ME, MN, MS, NY, NC, RI, SC, and WI. In order to qualify for this program, a client must be at least 51% Indian-owned and operated. Must be a for-profit business located in one of the states listed above, with the potential
and desire to do business with the government. We will help you find the missing pieces of the puzzle.

Listing in UIDA's Directory of Indian-Owned Businesses
Distributed to Purchasing Agents of the Federal, State and Local governments as well as private businesses and is designed to assist in identifying capable Indian firms for contracting purposes. This listing will also be provided on UIDA's
website (Client
Directory).
Marketing at Various Conferences/Events
UIDA staff participates in many events and continuously markets its clients to government agencies and prime contractors. Recent events included: National Minority Supplier Development Council Conference and Trade Fair with over 4,000 attendees! The Utah Supplier Conference Workshop with over 200 attendees and many more.
Workshops/Training
We plan to develop workshops focused on "How to Do Business With the Federal, State or Local Government." Our consultants will be available to provide one-on-one consultations at these events.
